Can I just say…
When we can’t even decided whether:
a) men and women are equal under the eyes of God
–OR-
b) women are weak, dangerous, and incapable and must be taken care of by men
then, I don’t think we could call Christianity an organized religion.

Let’s see -
organized: formed into a structured or coherent whole
Origin: Middle English organisen, from Old French organiser, from Medieval Latin organizre, from Latin organum, tool, instrument.
religion: set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects
Origin: 1150–1200; ME religioun (< OF religion) < L religi?n- (s. of religi?) conscientiousness, piety, equiv. to relig(?re) to tie, fasten (re- re- + lig?re to bind, tie; cf. ligament)
tools that tie, instruments that bind
The FBI defines organized crime as any group having some manner of a formalized structure and whose primary objective is to obtain money through illegal activities.
Change the word money to power and it scares me how on targest that definition is for much of the Christendom mafia that is thrashing to retain power and oppression. The frame for that thrashing is so often people who the mafia has oppressed - women, openly gay & lesbian folks, the poor - God forbid, even those who follow Jesus in a path different from the power structures.

Amen. not very organized.
Because it is neither: men and women are equal under the eyes of God and therefore must take care of each other.
