5. be present at a death/passing
6. be a spiritual director
7. publish a book or show my art
8. build a welcoming kitchen
9. keynote at a national level gathering
10. write a regular column in a magazine
11. live with a beautiful shrine-y garden
12. learn to bake bread well
13. have a lifelong yoga practice
14. learn at least one kind of dance
15. dred my hair
16. see my children outlive me
17. skinnydip
18. be present at my parent’s death/passing
19. be at peace in my own skin for more than two weeks at at time
20. inspire someone
21. change the course of one at-risk family for the better
22. grow a big batch of sweet peas
23. knit a proper sweater
24. eat wholistically
25. be at a birth
26. see myself and others with clarity
27. raise compassionate kids
28. see the Northern Lights
29. give my children a positive jr. high experience
30. visit Wendy and Brad on-field
31. spend a week or two at a vacation home on the beach/lake
32. watch a woman get sworn in as president
33. watch a black person get sworn in as president
34. see our military turned into a peace keeping force
35. give my girls what they need to have healthy relationships
36. have an enormous funeral
37. have a dog
38. fully understand another culture
39. track down a few lost friends
40. be a part of an outrageous circus troupe
41. go on an artist’s retreat with Jen Lemen
42. see Paul fulfill a lifelong career dream
43. have a good body image (consistently)

    I love the idea of your lists, Rachelle. I also have a sadly unused copy of The Artist’s Way. I’ve been going back through reading some of your blog entries and I love all your creative artsy ideas. I’d love to get together with you and anyone else who has expressed an interest to you to do some art together, learn from each other. This is a sadly deficient outlet in my life.
