Proper Passover Picture
Even though it is Monkfish Abbey night and I was supposed to be cleaning for our gathering; even though I was supposed to be making lentil tomato soup; even though I was supposed to be preparing discussion questions for the first four chapters of Generous Orthodoxy…..I went to the Episcopal Bookstore and gathered all the pictures I could with women in them. I’m going to make a stories scrapbook for my girls. Here’s the first one. I can’t seem to size it properly, but you can see it on their website, linked below.

I sent this to my pastor and volunteered to be Mary Magdalene on Maundy Thursday.
(Magadelena is my confirmation name; I feel I should have first dibs.) Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we started including more women in our Passion portrayals? I guess Passion plays aren’t every emergent… but my church still does them… maybe I could get a few women up there…
Check these pictures out from Stephen Sawyer…

Last Supper
BTW, I visited Brian McLaren’s church a couple weeks ago… although he was there, Patsy Fratanduono spoke on contemplative prayer… she rocked!
