Wanna Here Something Funny?
I’m such a newbie! I prepped my first powerpoint presentation for the seminar I’m presenting on Friday. It’s got all these cool slides and a bunch of notes. But I just realized that there is no way for me to SEE the notes without also PROJECTING them up onto the screen….and I didn’t print a hard copy.
What a dork!
Now I have to go to the AV room and beg for help.
Go ahead….laught at me now!
I didn’t realize this till I was reading this, but…
If your laptop has dual-monitor support, that means that what you as the presenter sees is different than what the projector outputs.
Specifically, what you see is a screen with the current slide in the top center, your notes for the slide in the lower center, and the next 4 or 5 slides on the left column.
But it’s always safer to print Powerpoint slide note sheets if you’re not sure that your projector laptop will work this way..
Now that being said, don’t you realize you’re breaking Tallskinnykiwi’s heart by using “Powerpoint, the Devil’s Tool”?

It’s so hilarious that you should say that because one of my big insecurities with this presentation was “Andrew Jones wouldn’t give the time of day to such low tech art!”
Thankfully there were plenty of people willing to do curbside art with the Monkfish crew!
So glad we got to go out for brew with the boys on our last night! Hope to see you and the family soon!
