    Much as I am excited to actually BUY this new album, for me born again sounds more like the Drums->Space jam at a really good Dead show, you know, early in the game before Jerry got all junked out and Bobby’s ego wasn’t out of control and they were playing because they loved it, not because they had a corporation to support. There’s that time in the jam when the sounds and the tempo and the ideas and creativity are all swirling around, dancing, tension-filled and playful. And then you grasp that it’s all starting to come together, to make sense, and you get faint glimpses of what might happen next even if you’re not sure yet, but whatever it is is going to be great.
