Lost Luggage is REALLY Sad
Well, we made it to the family reunion in Chicago but our bags didn’t. More specifically, the big suitcase with all my clothes and all Paul’s clothes didn’t make it. It’s been 24hours….when do you give up hope?
I usually like some little project to do while I’m here (there’s often down time) so I brought my “keep” box and my scrapbook. So if my luggage doesn’t show up I’ve lost all my little momento since 2000. The first mother’s day card Eden made me…all the birthday cards from my v. important 30th birthday…our 10th Anniversary cards…the little prayer card that we sang our dinner prayer off of with our first home group…momentos from Cate’s dedication ceremony…
Oh, and it’s Eden’s birthday tommorow and she’s had her heart set on one of those cut-up shape cakes that looks like a castle. The instructions were in the suitcase.
Sigh.
I’ve had luggage show up 2 days later. Several times had luggage delayed, but never lost completely. Keep Hope Alive!
Lord, deliver that luggage for Paul and Rachelle and Cate and Eden!
I too have had “lost” luggage several times. It’s always found it’s way to me. I’m praying right now that the same will be true for you!
We will be praying that God Almighty will vanquish your luggage from the evil hords of luggage stealers.
