Other People Talk Too
The thing I like about blogging (one of the things) is that it can form a teaching/learning community in which we can coach and inform each other as we unfold this story we find ourselves in and try to build a theology that can look people in the eye. I find that extremely helpful. I read a lot of blogs, only a few of which are on my blogroll (because I’ve forgotten how to update it). Last night, ’round midnight (Paul was at a board meeting) I read this one several times where my friend jen and a new aquintance Will Sansbury struck up a grace filled conversation about God healing things that hurt. If you’re following the current discussion of love and gayness you should really read jen and Will ‘cuz they are having kingdom right there on the internet. I’ve also been reading Karen H lately because she’s a woman with kids and faith and a writer’s voice. I love what she had to say about being liberal this week and she promises to write more so I’ll be checking often. Then I just needed an irreverant laugh break with a little postmodern angst so I watched this little vid from some wannabe film director and laughed a little. (Thanks, jen.)

I loved the video!
