Thanks Bloggers
I’m not in much of a writing space the last few days…too many lice I guess. But I did want to say a big Thank You to everyone who’s posted comments here or at nextwave, or emailed me to say nice things about my piece on women in the emerging church. I wanted to write everyone back one on one, but I just haven’t gotten to it and I don’t want to let the moment pass without saying thanks thanks thanks. It’s been really really sustaining, and thought provoking. I have felt the most solidarity, perhaps, with Tim Bednar who wrote this very practical and helpful bit on his blog, which I would recommend. I also want to direct folks to Phyllis Matthis’s post on understanding anger which I though was very helpful. (Plus we referenced the same Jesus story, which I thought was cool). At any rate, it was a bit nerve wracking to put that article out there, so I want to thank everyone who’s been supportive!

was just feeling sorry for myself bcuz i’m not at EC and wondered if you were feeling the same… just wanted to encourage you and tell you I’m praying for you as I type. Both Waving or Drowning and Paradoxology are blogging from EC, so I’m living a bit vicariously. Sure wish some of the women were though, I’d love to hear their perspective - I guess it will come, just a bit later. anyway - wanted to tell you you weren’t “alone”. Have a great night.

totally feeling sorry for myself! I was so lonely Tuesday that I had to listen to Anne Lammott on CD while I worked just to get myself started! Thankfully Jen Lemen was on IM and talked to me from Emergent! Pitifull me, eh?
i love anne lammott! she spoke last year at NPC, i want that tape! good to see some FM blogs going out there - jen and tammy jo are both blogging from EC so we can get a glimpse (sans goatee)
